Tesla Reveals Revolutionary Robotaxi Interior: A Steering-Wheel-Free, Two-Seater Car

May 21, 2024 – Tesla has recently released a promotional video via the X platform, urging shareholders to vote in favor of Elon Musk’s $55 billion compensation package and the relocation of the company’s incorporation to Texas. Within the video, a glimpse of what appears to be the interior of Tesla’s upcoming Robotaxi has sparked significant interest and speculation.

Eagle-eyed viewers have pointed out a particular shot inside a vehicle that doesn’t resemble any of Tesla’s currently available products. The image reveals a two-seater car lacking a steering wheel, featuring a central display similar to those in existing Tesla models. The seats, unlike those in modern automobiles, resemble seating commonly found in public transportation such as trains.

Musk has announced that he will unveil the Robotaxi, dubbed the “Cybercab,” on August 8th. He took to social media to explain that part of the reason for choosing this date is its auspicious numerical significance in Chinese culture.

Previously, a modified Tesla Model 3 test car was spotted in Palo Alto, California. Images circulated on the X platform show the new Model 3 without traditional side mirrors, which have been replaced by a uniquely positioned camera system. Adjustments have also been made to the cameras on the front fender, and the rear camera position has been raised. Most notably, two cameras installed inside the vehicle, directly behind the driver’s seat, appear to be designed for observing the road behind through the rear window.

Tesla’s upcoming Robotaxi promises to revolutionize the transportation industry, and shareholders are eagerly awaiting its official unveiling. The company continues to push the boundaries of automotive technology, paving the way for a fully autonomous future.
