Sony PS5 Pro Renders Revealed, Possible Launch This Month

September 04, 2024 – Based on sketches leaked by the source billbil-kun, Reddit user Dramatic_Experience6 has created 3D renders of the Sony PS5 Pro console, offering a glimpse into its potential design.

According to the renders, the most notable difference between the PS5 Pro and the current model lies in the three black stripes on both sides of the new console’s board. However, it’s worth noting that the rendered images showcase the disc drive version, which differs somewhat from the digital edition sketches originally shared by billbil-kun.

Reports suggest that the Sony PS5 Pro could be released as early as this month. The console is rumored to have rasterization performance close to that of the 7700 XT and slightly faster ray tracing capabilities. This could potentially enable it to render games at 2160p resolution at 60-120 FPS and output at UHD-8K resolution at 60-120 frames.
