April 30, 2026 – MediaTek has just released its consolidated financial results for the first quarter of 2026. During this period, the company’s consolidated operating revenue reached NT$149.151 billion, marking a 2.7% year-on-year decrease and a 0.7% quarter-on-quarter decline.

In terms of profitability, MediaTek’s consolidated operating gross margin for Q1 stood at 46.3%. This represents a 1.8 percentage point drop compared to the same period last year, while showing a slight 0.2 percentage point increase from the previous quarter. The consolidated operating profit amounted to NT22.891billion,asignificant23.824.378 billion, with a 17.4% year-on-year decrease and a 5.6% quarter-on-quarter increase. The earnings per share (EPS) was NT$15.17.
MediaTek explained that the decline in revenue for this quarter was mainly due to the fact that the drop in mobile phone revenue offset the growth in revenue from smart device platforms.
