Kingsoft Docs Integrates with WPS, Enabling Seamless Local and Online Document Switching

April 19, 2024 – Kingsoft Docs, a multiperson real-time collaborative editing tool, has recently undergone a significant upgrade, with its integration into WPS Office suite. This integration allows users to seamlessly switch between local and online documents.

According to the announcement, when a file from Kingsoft Docs needs to be edited using WPS, users can now effortlessly transition using the “Open with WPS” feature. This functionality enables the use of a more professional editing mode for online documents, alongside other advanced features available in WPS.

One of the key benefits of using WPS to open Kingsoft Docs is that it preserves the original formatting and layout, ensuring that the content remains intact and unchanged.

Additionally, WPS provides a one-click collaboration feature. While editing documents in WPS, users can simply click the share button in the top right corner to invite others to edit the document collaboratively.

Kingsoft Docs boasts several impressive features including 1GB of free cloud storage for online document storage and editing, support for multiple document types, and the ability for up to 200 people to collaborate on a single document simultaneously. Furthermore, users can easily import local files from WeChat chats, track collaboration history, and restore previous versions of documents.

Released in July 2018 by Zhuhai Kingsoft Office Software Co., Ltd., Kingsoft Docs is a versatile tool that supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other common office software formats.
