July 25, 2024 – After years of anticipation and multiple delays, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has finally provided an update on the long-awaited new Tesla Roadster, confirming that the electric sports car is set to enter production next year.
The news comes as a relief to many who had begun to doubt the vehicle’s arrival, given the repeated postponements since its initial unveiling in 2017 and promised production in 2020. Despite Tesla’s offer to gift dozens of Roadsters to early referral program participants, skepticism had been mounting over the car’s actual release.

Although Musk has confirmed the production schedule, details about the updated Roadster’s official unveiling remain scarce. Furthermore, he revealed that Tesla’s Robotaxi project, originally slated for an earlier release, would now be launched in October, promising more surprises.
