April 19, 2024 – The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 has recently made an appearance on the GeekBench benchmarking platform, bearing the model number SM-F741U. The device has logged 17 Vulkan benchmark scores, with the highest reaching 15084 points, indicating performance similar to that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
According to the benchmarking data, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is powered by a processor codenamed “pineapple”. This processor utilizes a 1+2+2+3 core configuration and is paired with an Adreno (TM) 750 GPU, strongly suggesting that it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Furthermore, the benchmark listing reveals that the device comes equipped with 8GB of RAM and runs on the Android 14 operating system.
Previous reports have indicated that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be available in two variants, one featuring Samsung’s own Exynos chipset and the other utilizing the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. If these rumors are true, it would mark the first time an Exynos chip is used in a Galaxy Z series phone.
In terms of memory configurations, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will reportedly be offered in both 8GB and 12GB RAM options, although the 12GB variant may not be available in all regions. Storage capacities are expected to remain at 256GB and 512GB.
