Apple’s Most Aromatic iPhone Expected in March: Morgan Stanley Predicts SE 4 Sales of 15-20 Million Units

October 16, 2024 – Morgan Stanley, a leading American investment bank, has released a new investment note predicting a shipment volume of between 15 to 20 million units for the upcoming iPhone SE 4, driven by the integration of Apple Intelligence.

According to the report, despite the iPhone 16 series sales being below expectations, Apple has not reduced orders for the flagship devices. While the overall delivery cycle for the iPhone 16 series is shorter compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 15 series, sales of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have been relatively stronger.

Morgan Stanley’s supply chain investigation revealed indications that Apple has begun stockpiling for the launch of the iPhone SE 4. The bank estimates that Apple will unveil the new device in March 2025, featuring Apple Intelligence. This integration is expected to enhance the appeal of the new iPhone, making it more attractive than most older iPhone models that do not support Apple Intelligence, even if they are priced higher.

Initially, Morgan Stanley analysts had forecasted that Apple would produce and sell 15 million units of the iPhone SE 4. However, the latest prediction has revised that number to a range of 15 to 20 million units.
