Upon inquiry, it was learned that GreenSpark specializes in developing operational software for the automotive metal recycling industry. The investment is expected to help GreenSpark accelerate its product roadmap, expand its market share, and drive innovation in “an industry that has long been overlooked by technology”.
BMW stated that despite being a critical component of the energy circular ecosystem, the $120 billion recycling materials market has been lacking intuitive and modern software to optimize operational, financial, logistical, and business functions. GreenSpark’s platform claims to provide solutions that cover every aspect of the recycled metal value chain, promoting a circular economy and enhancing the profitability of operators.
It is reported that GreenSpark has more than tripled its customer base in the past 12 months, claiming to “provide industry-leading AI solutions” and “have the potential to revolutionize business operations in the recycling industry”. Currently, the company is continuously serving customers in the metal recycling and automotive industries.
