May 08, 2024 – Apple unveiled its new iPad Pro and iPad Air tablets at its “Let It Fly” event yesterday. Compared to the 2022 model, the 2024 iPad Pro features a slight downgrade in its camera system, moving from a dual-camera setup (12MP wide-angle lens + 10MP ultra-wide lens) to a single 12MP wide-angle lens.
Despite the reduction in camera count, Apple has put some thoughtful design into the camera module of the 2024 iPad Pro. At first glance, it may not be immediately apparent that the new model only sports a single camera, as the design of the camera module maintains a similar aesthetic to its predecessor.
In addition to the camera changes, the 2024 iPad Pro has also seen a reduction in its microphone count, dropping from five in the 2022 model to four in the new version.
