September 7, 2026 – Luxeed Auto has officially released the interior images of the new R7. Compared to the current model, the changes are substantial, resembling a complete generational overhaul.
Overall, the premium feel of the new vehicle has been significantly enhanced. The extensive use of leather materials and the ambient lighting strips create a much more refined visual experience.
In terms of details, the remote dashboard has been eliminated and replaced with a conventional instrument cluster positioned directly behind the steering wheel. Consequently, the steering wheel has been redesigned from the previously controversial oval shape to a more ergonomic D-shape.

Another notable upgrade is the integrated dual-screen setup for the central console and passenger entertainment. Measuring 15.6 inches each, this latest HarmonyOS Smart Drive solution effectively elevates the technological atmosphere within the cabin.
Additionally, the new R7 will be equipped with an AR-HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display), an electronic column shifter, and dual 50W wireless charging pads. Higher-end configurations are also expected to offer a built-in car refrigerator and a rear-seat entertainment screen.
Exterior-wise, the new R7 maintains its coupe-SUV positioning with minimal overall design changes. It introduces a new “Titanium Silver” color option and an Obsidian package. Key hardware features include an 896-line LiDAR, semi-hidden door handles, frameless exterior mirrors, and frameless doors. Furthermore, the perception cameras have been relocated to the B-pillars to extend the sensing range.
Regarding the powertrain, the new R7 is expected to continue offering both Extended Range (EREV) and Pure Electric (BEV) variants. The EREV version will feature a 1.5T engine paired with electric motors, available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive. The BEV version will offer 82 kWh LFP and 100 kWh ternary lithium battery options, also with RWD and AWD configurations, achieving a maximum CLTC range of over 800 kilometers.
