May 06, 2024 – According to leaker Mark Gurman, Apple is set to hold a 35-minute long event on May 7th, where it is expected to unveil four new products: the iPad Pro, iPad Air, Apple Pencil, and a new Magic Keyboard.
The upcoming iPad Pro will be available in 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes, marking the first time the device will feature an OLED screen. This advanced display technology supports LTPO and 120Hz ProMotion for smoother visuals. It utilizes a dual-stack structure, resulting in improved brightness, longer lifespan, and enhanced battery performance. Supply chain expert Ross Young describes it as the best OLED panel ever created.
Furthermore, the iPad Pro will be equipped with Apple’s latest M4 chip, touted as the most powerful iPad processor in Apple’s history.
Meanwhile, the iPad Air line is expanding with two new additions: a regular 10.9-inch updated version and a larger 12.9-inch model. Both iPads will be driven by the capable M2 chip.
