Currently, SSI employs 10 individuals and intends to utilize the new capital to expand its team by hiring additional top-tier talent and investing in hardware equipment. The company aims to assemble a small but highly trusted team of expert researchers and engineers.
Gross emphasized, “It’s crucial for us to have investors who understand, respect, and support our mission, which is to take a direct path towards achieving safe superintelligence. We’re particularly focused on dedicating several years to product research and development before introducing it to the market.”
