Samsung Galaxy S24 / S24+ Reportedly Equipped with LTPO Displays and Continuing the Ultra-Narrow Edge Design

August 02, 2023 – In today’s fast-paced world of technology, leaks and rumors surrounding upcoming flagship smartphones have become a common sight. One such leak from the renowned blogger @i CosmicVerse has shed light on the anticipated Samsung Galaxy S24 series, which promises to deliver some exciting new features.

According to the leak, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 and S24+ are expected to come equipped with cutting-edge LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) displays. This display technology, first introduced in the Galaxy S21 Ultra, allows for variable refresh rates, resulting in lower power consumption and enhanced battery life. Unlike their predecessors, the Galaxy S22 and S23 series, these new devices could finally share the same display technology as the S21 Ultra, promising a more consistent and improved user experience across the entire lineup.

The leak also suggests that Samsung is pushing the boundaries of design with the Galaxy S24 series. With flagship smartphones from various manufacturers already adopting super-slim bezels, Samsung appears to be following suit. Inspired by the success of Xiaomi’s Mi 13, which boasts an impressive 93.3% screen-to-body ratio, Samsung aims to offer an even more immersive visual experience with narrower bezels, elevating the overall aesthetics of the S24 and S24+.

Moving on to the Galaxy S24+, this model is rumored to sport a generous 6.65-inch LTPO display, accompanied by a 4900mAh (typical) battery and starting with a minimum of 8GB of RAM. The focus on memory and battery capacity suggests that Samsung aims to deliver top-notch performance while ensuring that users can stay powered throughout the day.

Now, the most ambitious addition to the series might just be the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Featuring a titanium metal frame for added durability, this premium device is rumored to come with a substantial 5000mAh (typical) battery, capable of supporting the energy-demanding features of its cutting-edge camera system. With a four-camera module on the rear, photography enthusiasts can expect a new level of versatility and excellence in mobile photography.
