January 22, 2024 – In a recent report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, it has been revealed that customers who purchase the Apple Vision Pro on its launch day will receive a special commemorative shopping bag to carry their newly acquired device.
This isn’t the first time Apple has offered such a commemorative item; back in 2007, when the original iPhone was released, the tech giant provided a special shopping bag featuring an image of the inaugural iPhone.
Gurman further noted that the packaging for the Apple Vision Pro will be quite substantial, comparing it to the size of “two Mac Studio boxes combined.” For reference, the Mac Studio measures 9.5 cm in height, 19.7 cm in width, and 19.7 cm in depth, although its packaging is slightly larger to accommodate protective materials.
The contents of the Apple Vision Pro package are quite comprehensive. Included in the box are the Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band, which provide users with options for securing the Vision Pro to their heads. Also packaged are small items such as the Light Seal and Light Seal Cushion, designed to minimize external light intrusion and enhance the user experience.
Additionally, customers can expect to find a protective cover for the Apple Vision Pro, a polishing cloth bearing the Apple logo, a battery, a USB-C charging cable, and a USB-C power adapter.
The Apple Vision Pro headset is set to go on sale on February 2nd, and Gurman has shared more details about the first day of sales. Customers who order online can choose to pick up their device in-store and leave, participate in an in-store demonstration, or have a one-on-one on-site setup with a store employee to confirm sizing and fit. If needed, customers can exchange individual components for a different size.
In case of any sizing issues during home installation, customers can return to the store for exchanges. After completing the in-store demonstration, customers can purchase the Vision Pro in their preferred size.
