Tesla’s FSD Makes Its Way to Mexico, Eyes Europe and China Next

February 13, 2025 – Tesla has announced today that its FSD (Beta) driver assistance feature is now available in the Mexican market, marking the technology’s expansion beyond the United States and Canada. This is the third expansion of FSD since its launch.

It’s important to note that the FSD functionality is geographically restricted, meaning that even vehicles equipped with FSD will automatically revert to Autopilot mode when entering countries or regions that do not support the software.

Tesla has also outlined its long-term goals for FSD, although it remains unclear whether the company will achieve these targets as planned. However, this is the latest information provided by Tesla since September 2024.

According to the company’s roadmap, FSD is expected to be rolled out in Europe and China during the first quarter of 2025, pending regulatory approvals. Furthermore, Tesla plans to introduce FSD to right-hand drive markets in the second quarter of 2025, with the specific timeline subject to changes based on the approval process.
