Tesla Lights Up the Night: 1150 Cars Create History with Massive Light Display

February 25, 2025 – Last weekend, the city of Saint-Truiden, Belgium, witnessed a remarkable Tesla light show at the DronePort, featuring a record-breaking 1,150 Tesla vehicles. This spectacular event surpassed the previous world record set in Suwon, South Korea, where over 1,000 Tesla cars participated in a similar show.

The highlight of this light show was not just the illuminated cars but also a drone performance in the sky. The drones formed the word “Tesla” and the company’s logo, creating a visually stunning display along with other light patterns above the caravan. This six-minute extravaganza, carefully organized by Tesla owner clubs from Belgium and the Netherlands, has been captured in photos and videos that have gone viral online.

According to Simon Pollock, one of the organizers of the Tesla light show, the next event is scheduled for the Chattanooga Charge festival in Tennessee, USA, on March 29th and 30th.

Tesla light shows have become a global phenomenon in recent years, serving as a unique way for owners to showcase the brand’s charm and creativity. In 2024, a light show at the X Takeover event in San Luis Obispo, California, featured a live performance by DJ Ravi Jakhotia. Another notable light show took place in Salzburg, Austria, where Tesla owners formed a giant heart with their car lights, adding a romantic touch to a couple’s proposal.

Previously, Finland hosted a Tesla light show with 687 vehicles in 2023, while a show in Germany featured 255 cars, making it the largest event of its kind at that time.
