March 6, 2025 – According to a recent blog post by technology media outlet MacRumors, citing data revealed by Apple’s developer tool Xcode, the 2025 model of the 11-inch iPad (powered by the A16 chip) features 6GB of RAM. This marks an increase compared to the previous generation iPad 10, which had 4GB of RAM.
Despite the slight reduction in CPU and GPU specifications of the A16 chip, the boost in RAM to 6GB is expected to significantly enhance the device’s multitasking capabilities. However, it’s worth noting that the RAM has not been upgraded to 8GB, which means the new iPad won’t support Apple’s “Apple Intelligence” feature.
