July 31, 2026 – Xiaomi has expanded details on its Pengcheng N70 Max, a mid-size 5-seat 4WD extended-range SUV, after a brief showcase at the July 30 evening Pengcheng tech launch event, with founder Lei Lei sharing full specs via Weibo the following morning.
Positioned as a smart morphing-space SUV, the N70 Max delivers 310kW peak power, 190km/h top speed, 505km CLTC pure-electric range and 1461km total combined range, with 6.1L/100km fuel consumption in charge-depleting scenarios. It comes standard with air springs and continuous damping dampers for premium ride comfort.
Priced at a pre-sale of 259,900 RMB (the higher-tier N90 Max starts at 299,900 RMB), both models are set for official launch this September. The 3.5-year development of the Pengcheng line follows Xiaomi’s core vision of building a “movable home” that blends SUV off-road capability with the flexible, reconfigurable interior space of a recreational vehicle.
