Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G Tablet Revealed with Impressive Specs on Google Play Console

January 10, 2024 – Recent reports have revealed the upcoming arrival of Samsung’s Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G tablet, as it makes an appearance on the Google Play Console. The device, bearing the model number SM-X306B, is equipped with 6GB of RAM and runs on the Android 14 operating system.

The Google Play Console listing also provides a glimpse of the tablet’s front panel, showcasing its substantial bezels surrounding the display. Notably, the tablet features physical buttons at the bottom for home, back, and recent tasks.

Furthermore, the listing sheds light on the tablet’s display specifications, revealing a screen resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a pixel density of 320 dpi. The Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G is powered by the Exynos 1380 5G chipset, promising snappy performance.

The tablet has also received FCC certification, confirming its internal storage capacity of 128GB. Additionally, it supports microSD cards up to 64GB, S-Pen functionality, and comes bundled with a 15W charger.

Interestingly, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G has also made an appearance on the Geekbench database, where it achieved a score of 1022 in the single-core test and 2815 in the multi-core test. These scores offer a glimpse into the tablet’s processing capabilities.

Previously, in December, high-resolution renders of the tablet were shared, revealing its rugged design. The Galaxy Tab Active 5 features an 8-inch WUXGA display with enhanced touch sensitivity. It also packs a user-replaceable 5050 mAh battery and sports a dual-camera system, making it a versatile device for both work and play.
