According to public information, Netflix’s previous price hike occurred in October 2023, marking the first time since the introduction of the ad-supported plan in late 2022 that its price has been raised.

Regarding the price increases, Netflix stated, “As we continue to invest in content production and deliver more value to our members, we will occasionally need to ask for a higher contribution from them. This allows us to reinvest and further enhance the Netflix experience.”
