January 23, 2025 – Apple has announced the opening of its new retail store in the “Worldcenter” shopping mall in Miami, which is scheduled to officially open its doors on January 24th at 10 am local time.
The tech giant revealed that the store’s design incorporates eco-friendly elements, aiming to provide customers with a more natural shopping experience. Boasting a sizable rooftop garden that harmoniously blends with the surrounding palm trees and shrubs, the store is set to offer an environmentally conscious and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.
In their official press release, Apple stated, “Apple Miami Worldcenter embraces biophilic design, allowing customers to feel immersed in the lush greenery around them. Upon entering the store, visitors and locals will be surrounded by a vibrant plantscape inspired by Miami’s rich Latin cultural background.”

Furthermore, Apple emphasized its commitment to sustainability by utilizing locally sourced materials during the store’s construction, thereby reducing carbon emissions and minimizing environmental impact.
Regarding the service experience, the new store features a streamlined layout that combines the Genius Bar and Apple Pickup areas, enabling customers to receive technical support and collect online purchases in one convenient location. Additionally, an Apple Vision Pro experience zone has been set up within the store.
Accessibility is also a key focus, as the store is equipped with varying table and chair heights, wheelchair-friendly spaces, and portable hearing loops to accommodate hearing aid users.
To celebrate the store’s opening, Apple has released a collection of garden-themed wallpapers for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Moreover, the store has curated an Apple Music playlist featuring some of Miami’s most popular Latin music artists.
