Exposed iPhone SE 4 Case Reveals Single Camera Setup and Potential Size Difference with iPhone 14

February 18, 2025 – In a recent blog post, tech media outlet macworld shared insights into the potential design of Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE 4 (also rumored to be called the iPhone 16E) based on a phone case sourced from German accessory maker DeinDesign. While the information remains unofficial and based on supplier and industry speculation, it offers a glimpse into what the tech giant might have in store.

The phone case features a horizontal cutout for a single camera, accompanied by a flash, indicating that the iPhone SE 4 could possibly continue with the single-camera design seen in the 2022 iPhone SE, rather than adopting the diagonal dual-camera setup of the iPhone 14.

Examining the case reveals cutouts for a speaker and connector at the bottom, a silent switch and volume buttons on the left side, and a power button on the right. However, there are no indications that the iPhone SE 4 will include the camera controls found on the iPhone 16.

Interestingly, the transparent silicone case from DeinDesign appears slightly narrower and shorter than that of the iPhone 14, contradicting the widespread belief that Apple might use the iPhone 14’s body design. The dimensions of the rumored iPhone SE 4 case measure approximately 148mm x 75mm, noticeably smaller than the OtterBox transparent case for the iPhone 16, which stands at 151.7mm x 77.2mm.

Amidst all the speculation and uncertainty, fans and analysts eagerly await the official unveiling on February 19th. Whether this anticipated entry-level iPhone will deliver any surprises remains to be seen.
