Apple has submitted a new, unreleased version of the MacBook Pro, model A2779, in a Canadian regulatory database. According to the wireless frequency range mentioned in the filing, it may support Wi-Fi 6E, which extends Wi-Fi to the 6GHz frequency band for more bandwidth, faster speeds, and lower latency. Leaker Wade Penner also claims that the laptop will feature the Apple M2 Pro or M2 Max chip and support WiFi 6E/6GHz frequency bands.
According to another leaker, Jon Prosser, Apple will release its first product of 2023 on January 17th. The reports suggest that the new product release will include 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, which will feature the M2 Pro and M2 Max chips for improved performance. Additionally, the Mac mini will also feature the new M2 chip, with a design similar to the current model.
