Apple to Launch iPad 11 with Preinstalled iPadOS 18.3 Next Spring

December 24, 2024 – According to sources cited by Macrumors, Apple is planning to unveil the iPad 11 in the spring of next year, with the new device coming pre-installed with iPadOS 18.3.

The website reports that several indications over the past few months have pointed to Apple’s development of the 11th-generation iPad, which is slated for release in the spring alongside the new iPhone SE 4 and iPad Air. Today’s source provides further corroboration, predicting that Apple will release iOS 18.3 and iPadOS 18.3 in late January or early February of next year, with shipments expected around March.

The source also suggests that the entry-level iPad will feature a forthcoming custom 5G modulator, which is also set to be introduced in the 2025 models of the iPhone SE 4 and iPhone 17 Air.

It’s worth noting that Mark Gurman from Bloomberg had previously hinted that the iPad 11 may support Apple’s intelligent system, indicating that it will be equipped with a newer A-series chip compared to the iPad 10, as well as at least 8GB of RAM.
