Samsung’s Revolutionary Triple-Folding Phone Hits Korea in Limited Release This Year

March 7, 2025 – Galaxy Club, a Dutch technology media outlet, revealed additional information on March 6th about Samsung’s upcoming triple-folding smartphone, indicating that the device will make its debut in a limited edition format with priority given to the Korean market. According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 series will consist of two models, codenamed Q7 and Q7M.

The Q7, identified as the regular Galaxy Z Fold7, bears the model number SM-F966. On the other hand, the Q7M emerges as a unique triple-folding device equipped with three screens and two hinges. While the specific model number for the Q7M remains unconfirmed, speculation suggests it could possibly be SM-F968. Samsung is currently testing the firmware for SM-F968N, hinting that the triple-folding variant might initially launch in the Korean market.

This strategy echoes the release of the Galaxy Fold Special Edition, which was exclusively available in Korea at the end of 2024. This similarity implies that the new triple-folding model could also follow a limited release pattern, restricted to select countries. The regular Galaxy Z Fold7 is anticipated to hit the market in July 2025, whereas the triple-folding variant might arrive slightly later. Samsung’s development progress indicates that the launch timings for these two models might not be fully synchronized; however, concrete details are still awaited.
