Samsung Unveils Galaxy A06: Featuring MediaTek Helio G85 Chip and 6.7-inch 90Hz Display

August 17, 2024 – According to a report by GizmoChina on August 16th, Samsung has officially unveiled its new Galaxy A06 smartphone, featuring several upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A05. One of the most notable improvements is the increase in screen refresh rate to 90Hz on its 6.7-inch display, providing a smoother visual experience for users.

Additionally, the Galaxy A06 introduces a unique design element called Key Island. This innovative design features a raised section on the right side of the device, which integrates the volume buttons and a fingerprint sensor. This ergonomic layout offers easier access and improved usability.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy A06 retains the same MediaTek Helio G85 chipset as the A05. It comes in two storage capacities, 64GB and 128GB, and two memory options, 4GB and 6GB. The camera system remains unchanged, equipped with a 50MP primary sensor and an auxiliary sensor.

Furthermore, the Galaxy A06 packs a powerful 5000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting performance. It also supports 25W fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge their devices.

Pricing for the Galaxy A06 starts at 319 million Vietnamese dong for the 4GB+64GB variant, while the 6GB+128GB model is priced at 379 million Vietnamese dong. With its refreshed design and upgraded features, the Galaxy A06 is positioned to offer an enhanced user experience in the budget smartphone segment.
