Nokia X30 5G Spotted Testing Android 14 Update: GeekBench Revelations

January 11, 2024 – Recent reports indicate that HMD Global, or possibly Nokia Mobile, is currently testing the Android 14 update for the Nokia X30 5G smartphone. However, specific details regarding the rollout timeline remain unclear.

According to information from the GeekBench benchmark database, the Nokia X30 achieved a score of 919 in the single-core test and 2170 in the multi-core test after upgrading to Android 14. These results are considered respectable for a device powered by the 6nm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset.

Previously, it was rumored that HMD Global intends to roll out the Android 14 update to all eligible Nokia-branded devices ahead of the MWC 2024 event.

The Nokia X30 5G was originally launched in September 2022 and made its way to the Indian market on February 20, 2023. HMD has committed to providing three major OS updates and three years of security patches for the device. Since it shipped with Android 12 preinstalled, the phone is eligible for an upgrade to Android 15.

It’s worth noting that the Nokia X30 5G started receiving the Android 13 update in April 2023, with the update weighing in at approximately 2.54GB.
