April 26, 2024 – According to a tweet from renowned leaker @Evleaks, new high-resolution renders of the upcoming Google Pixel 8a smartphone have surfaced, showcasing four distinct color options: Mint, Porcelain, Obsidian, and Bay.
Google is rumored to unveil the Pixel 8a at its annual I/O developer conference on May 14th this year. Previous leaks have revealed a redesigned back panel featuring a matte finish, along with narrower screen bezels for an enhanced screen-to-body ratio, resulting in a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Pricing details for the Pixel 8a have also been leaked, with the 128GB model priced at 708.99 Canadian dollars (currently equivalent to approximately 3736 Chinese yuan), and the 256GB variant priced at 792.99 Canadian dollars (approximately 4179 Chinese yuan). In comparison, the Pixel 7a’s 128GB model was priced at 599 Canadian dollars in Canada (currently about 3157 Chinese yuan). This marks a significant price increase of roughly 18% for the base model of the Pixel 8a compared to its predecessor, or a 16.7% increase based on a hypothetical 699 Canadian dollar price point.
