LG Unveils Groundbreaking Wireless Transparent OLED TV, Revolutionizing Home Entertainment

January 08, 2024 – LG Electronics has recently unveiled the world’s first wireless transparent OLED TV, the LG Signature OLED T, offering a revolutionary techno-aesthetic experience with its OLED screen that appears to be invisible when turned off.

This innovative television seamlessly integrates transparent OLED technology with wireless audio/video transmission and reception capabilities. This allows viewers to enjoy the scenery outside their window or appreciate wall art while eliminating the clutter of wires. LG Electronics has emphasized the TV’s self-lit pixel technology, which ensures perfect picture quality despite its ultra-slim profile.

Thanks to its transparent screen and wireless technology, the LG Signature OLED T can be easily moved around. Whether placed in front of a living room window or used as a partition between the living room and kitchen, it blends in harmoniously with its surroundings.

The LG Signature OLED T features two distinct screen modes: transparent and black. In transparent mode, viewers can overlay TV content with the view outside their window or with wall art, creating a unique viewing experience. For those who prefer higher resolution image quality, a simple click of the remote control switches the screen to black mode.

Powered by an upgraded Alpha 11 artificial intelligence processor and the LG webOS smart TV operating system, the LG Signature OLED T boasts four times the performance of its predecessors. The Alpha 11 processor enhances picture quality through pixel-by-pixel detail analysis and color correction, accurately conveying the creator’s intent along with rich and immersive spatial sound.

LG Electronics has announced that the LG Signature OLED T will be available globally later this year.
