However, it seems that the Chinese tech giant is not slowing down its innovation train as a new device has been spotted in the IMEI database.
According to GSMChina, a mysterious new Xiaomi device bearing the model number 2503AVP01C has appeared. This suggests that internally, Xiaomi is targeting a March 2025 release for this device, which speculators believe could be the long-awaited MIX 5.
Details about this upcoming device remain scarce, given that its release is still over a year away. This provides Xiaomi with ample time to experiment and perfect various aspects of the phone.
Meanwhile, rumors about Xiaomi’s first clamshell foldable phone, the MIX Flip, have been circulating for some time. The device, which made an appearance in the IMEI database last September with the model number 2311BPN23C, is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Reports suggest that it could be unveiled alongside the Xiaomi 14 Ultra later this year, positioning itself as an ultra-slim and portable vertical folding option with decent screen and camera performance.
