This new position marks the end of Microsoft’s four-year streak at the top, as the tech giant has moved down to third place, while NVIDIA has risen to second.

Technology companies dominate this year’s rankings, with Apple leading the pack with a score of 92.1. NVIDIA follows closely with 90.1, and Microsoft rounds out the top three with 88.8. The “Management Top 250” ranking is based on the management principles of the late Peter Drucker, a renowned management guru. It evaluates companies comprehensively across various aspects of their management effectiveness. This year, 842 companies were assessed on five key areas: customer satisfaction, innovation, social responsibility, employee engagement and development, and financial strength.

The ranking utilizes data from 35 third-party metrics, which are then processed through a statistical model developed by the research team at the Drucker Institute, part of Claremont Graduate University. Additionally, Bendable Labs, a private company, collaborates with the Drucker Institute to calculate and interpret the relevant data, providing valuable insights into the state of corporate management in the U.S.
