June 14, 2025 – Car media outlet Carscoops has just released a post today, revealing that Ferrari took the wraps off the brand – new Piloti Ferrari 296 Speciale during the Le Mans 24 – Hour Endurance Race.
Crafted under Ferrari’s Tailor Made customization program, this car draws its inspiration from the 499P race car, which clinched the Hypercar class titles at the Le Mans races in both 2023 and 2024. According to Ferrari, the vehicle is tailored for owners who “live the track,” aiming to deliver an unadulterated racing fervor.
In terms of aesthetics, the Piloti Ferrari 296 Speciale blends four racing – inspired hues: Rosso Scuderia, Blu Tour De France, Nero Daytona, and Argento Nürburgring.

Each color scheme is paired with a 499P – style livery, accented with Giallo Modena yellow elements and hand – painted WEC logos. The Italian flag on the front bumper and the personalized numbering option for owners further enhance its exclusive identity.
The interior continues the racing theme. It features black Alcantara racing seats, with the seat trim made from the same fire – resistant fabric used in racing suits. Moreover, the car is equipped with a carbon – fiber plaque, customizable carbon – fiber sill plates, and metal floor accents. The steering wheel also incorporates Italian flag stripes and numbering.

Under the hood, the car retains its original plug – in hybrid system. It is powered by a twin – turbocharged 3.0 – liter V6 engine, a 7.45 kWh battery pack, an electric motor, and an eight – speed dual – clutch transmission.
The combined output power reaches an impressive 868 horsepower, and it offers a pure – electric driving range of up to 15.6 miles. The car can sprint from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 2.8 seconds and has a top speed exceeding 205 miles per hour.
