July 09, 2024 – In a significant move towards sustainable transportation, BYD Motor Company and Ayvens, an international sustainable mobility services provider, inked a strategic collaboration Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on July 2nd at BYD’s Shenzhen headquarters. This partnership heralds a new era in the provision of diversified and multifaceted electric vehicles (EVs) to European corporate clients, driving the advancement of sustainable fleet operations.
Under the terms of the agreement, BYD and Ayvens will jointly offer tailored EV fleet solutions to European enterprises, encompassing comprehensive services such as consultancy, operational leasing, and end-to-end charging infrastructure. The partnership aims to serve over 30 European companies within the first year of the MOU’s implementation, marking a substantial step towards promoting green mobility in the region.
Moreover, leveraging BYD’s extensive dealership network across Europe, Ayvens will introduce white-label, full-service leasing programs tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as private individuals. The initial rollout will commence in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, with aspirations to expand into other European markets in the near future. This collaboration also envisions exploring additional retail opportunities and deepening the white-label operational leasing model, thereby accelerating the electrification of Europe’s transportation sector.
Notably, BYD’s strategic expansion into the European market has been underway since September 2022, with remarkable progress. To date, the company has successfully introduced seven models into more than 20 European countries, including the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, further solidifying its position as a leading player in the global EV market.
This latest partnership underscores BYD’s commitment to fostering sustainable mobility solutions worldwide and highlights the increasing demand for eco-friendly transportation alternatives in Europe. As the two companies embark on this collaborative journey, they aim to revolutionize the European automotive landscape, paving the way for a greener, more sustainable future.
