August 13, 2026 – Following the launch of the Honor Robot Phone, Tianma Microelectronics has officially announced that it will be the exclusive display supplier for the device. Tianma is providing a deeply customized high-end OLED solution known as the “Tiangong Screen,” which marks the first time this technology has been deployed in an AI terminal with embodied interaction capabilities, specifically adapting to scenarios like content creation and on-the-go interaction.
The Honor Robot Phone features a 6.31-inch 1.5K OLED flat display with a resolution of 2640×1216, supporting P3 cinema-grade wide color gamut and professional color calibration. Powered by Tianma’s advanced light-emitting components and driving solutions, the screen achieves a peak brightness of 6,800 nits, ensuring clear visibility even in strong outdoor sunlight. It also supports a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate to balance smooth visuals with power efficiency. The display utilizes a centered punch-hole design with ultra-narrow 1.08mm bezels on all four sides, achieving a 94.58% screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience.

On the eye-care front, the Tiangong Screen utilizes a U9 eye-protection substrate to reduce harmful blue light at the material level. It supports 4,320Hz ultra-high-frequency PWM dimming and a 1-nit hardware-level ultra-dark eye-protection mode. Additionally, it integrates Honor’s full AI Oasis Eye Protection suite, featuring chip-level AI defocus protection, AI dry-eye relief, and AI sleep-assist display technologies to cover various low-light and long-term usage scenarios.
As the world’s first robot phone, the Honor Robot Phone breaks away from traditional fixed-lens smartphone designs by introducing an actively moving mechanical gimbal. It debuts a self-developed 4D mechanical gimbal main camera built on an aerospace-grade titanium alloy architecture that is 65% smaller than mainstream industry gimbals. This system supports 360-degree tracking, auto-framing, and target following, achieving CIPA 5.5-level stabilization to significantly enhance video stability during running or tracking shots.
Furthermore, the device introduces the YOYO Pro mode, which supports long-command comprehension and can autonomously execute over a hundred rounds of tasks. In the new YOYO robot mode, the phone can dance to music, recognize gestures, and engage in anthropomorphic interactions, evolving from a traditional smart terminal into a perceptive and interactive robot.
