May 07, 2024 – Sony has announced plans to hold a new product launch event on May 17th of this year, where they are expected to unveil their latest smartphones, including the Xperia 1 VI, Xperia 5 VI, and Xperia 10 VI.
Ahead of its official debut, the Xperia 10 VI, codenamed “parrot,” has made an appearance on Geekbench, achieving a score of 934 in the single-core test and 2816 in the multi-core test using version 6.2.2.
According to information on the benchmark database, the Xperia 10 VI, model number “XQ-ES72,” is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, equipped with 8GB of RAM, and runs on the Android 14 operating system.
Previously released renders of the Xperia 10 VI reveal a device featuring a dual rear camera setup, maintaining a 21:9 aspect ratio display, and including a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Leaked images suggest that the Sony Xperia 10 VI will be available in black, white, and blue color options, and will continue to sport the signature 21:9 aspect ratio bezel-less design that has become synonymous with the Sony Xperia series.
