Apple’s Upcoming iPad Pro 2024 Revealed: Thinner Design and Powerful M3 Chip

February 29, 2024 – Reports have emerged revealing the CAD drawings of the upcoming iPad Pro 2024, hinting at significant design changes.

The most notable alteration in the iPad Pro 2024 is its slimmer profile. According to the leaked drawings, the 11-inch variant will boast a thickness of just 5.1mm, a reduction of 0.8mm from its predecessor. Meanwhile, the 13-inch model will be even thinner, measuring only 5.0mm and shedding 1.4mm from the previous generation.

This substantial reduction in thickness is largely attributed to the iPad Pro 2024’s adoption of OLED technology for the first time. Unlike the mini-LED panels used in previous models, OLED displays do not require a backlight unit, allowing for a thinner and more power-efficient design. Additionally, OLED offers superior black levels and eliminates the halo effect often seen on mini-LED displays.

In terms of performance, the iPad Pro 2024 is expected to be a beast, powered by Apple’s next-generation M3 chip. This makes it not only the most powerful iPad in Apple’s history but also the first iPad in the industry to feature a 3nm chip.

The device is rumored to be officially unveiled in March, and tech enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating its arrival.
