Apple Shatters Records: $23.5 Billion in India for FY2024, Becoming the Fastest-Growing Company in 50 Years

August 16, 2024 – According to a report by the Economic Times on August 14th, Apple’s fiscal year 2024 revenue in India has surpassed $23.5 billion, driven by the strong sales of its iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, and AirPods products.

Indian officials informed ET that Apple has emerged as the fastest-growing company in terms of production and export in India over the past 50 years, earning the distinction of being the largest Global Value Chain (GVC) company in the country.

Note: The Global Value Chain refers to all the activities undertaken by economic agents to bring a product to market. It encompasses not only the production process but also pre-production activities such as design and post-production processes including marketing and distribution.
