HIMA Surpasses 1.39 Million Deliveries as AITO Claims Four Industry Crowns

May 27, 2026 – HIMA, the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, unveiled the latest additions to its AITO M9 lineup during a high-profile launch event in Beijing, where Huawei’s executive director Richard Yu laid out a series of record-breaking figures that underscore the brand’s rapid ascent in China’s premium EV market.

According to Yu, HIMA has now delivered more than 1.39 million vehicles across its entire portfolio. In 2026 alone, the alliance has handed over 190,000 units — a 27 percent year-over-year increase that outpaces most of its domestic rivals.

The numbers around intelligent driving are equally striking. Huawei’s Qiankun intelligent driving platform has accumulated a staggering 9.134 billion kilometers of assisted driving mileage. Vehicles equipped with Huawei’s ADS system have logged an average safe-driving distance 4.37 times higher than the national average, while those operating under ADS with human oversight still managed 2.93 times the national benchmark. As of May 26, the platform’s active safety features have prevented an estimated 4.29 million potential collisions.

Beyond safety metrics, AITO has claimed the top spot in four separate industry rankings: highest average transaction price among new-energy startups, best Net Promoter Score, strongest residual value for plug-in hybrid models, and the highest overall rating from China’s C-NCAP crash test program.

Closing the presentation, Yu reaffirmed a philosophy that has become the brand’s signature: “Safety is the ultimate luxury.” He pledged that HIMA would keep pushing the boundaries of intelligent driving to redefine what premium mobility means in the smart-vehicle era.
