October 13, 2026 – Alibaba’s Qwen has launched three new AI wearables: the Qwen AI Glasses N1, N1 Pro and a Qwen AI clip-on earphone developed with Bose. The products went on sale the same day, with prices starting at 2,218 yuan for the glasses and 1,099 yuan for the earphones after national subsidies and limited-time discounts.
The N1 series is built around a 50-megapixel imaging system and supports all-day environmental awareness, translation, meeting notes and voice-based task handling. The N1 Pro adds real-time health monitoring, eye-tracking interaction and iris authentication.

Song Gang, vice president of Alibaba’s Qwen business, said AI wearables are Qwen’s extension into the physical world and an important part of its Personal Agent strategy. The Qwen app gives the agent the ability to handle daily services and complex tasks, while AI hardware helps it enter real-life scenarios and provide more proactive assistance.
The N1 Pro is positioned as the first AI glasses in the industry with real-time health monitoring. It can track heart rate, blood oxygen and skin temperature, and turn the data into easy-to-read health insights. For example, it can remind cyclists to adjust their breathing when heart rate rises, or help users manage eye strain during long periods of screen use.
The N1 Pro also supports eye-tracking and iris verification. When a user looks at an item on a foreign-language menu and asks what it is, the glasses can lock onto the selected content and provide a translation through the earpiece. For payments, users can use Alipay’s iris-verified “look to pay” function: after initiating payment, they look at the merchant’s QR code, confirm the details and nod to complete the transaction. The iris authentication capability was co-developed by Qwen and Ant Group’s GPASS, with a false acceptance rate below one in a million.
On the imaging side, the N1 series uses a 50-megapixel sensor, a 1G5P lens and Qwen’s ultra-sensitive imaging engine to support 4K video recording, multi-axis stabilization, smart composition and live photos. The glasses also carry a low-power sensing chip and an on-device visual understanding model, allowing them to proactively provide station, schedule and travel information when relevant functions are enabled.
The Qwen AI clip-on earphone adopts an open-ear design with a 12-magnet dual-ring magnetic unit, carbon-fiber diaphragm and 0.8 mm large-amplitude structure. It supports real-time translation in 89 languages, AI-powered transcription and meeting notes, and voice-activated task delegation. Users can ask the assistant to research a product launch, summarize key highlights and generate a report, or set recurring tasks such as receiving a daily industry briefing at 9 a.m.
The new Qwen AI glasses and earphones are now available on Taobao, Tmall, JD.com and Douyin.
