Sony to Launch Four New Lenses and ZV-E10Ⅱ Camera Before Summer

March 08, 2024 – According to recent reports from SonyAlphaRumors, Sony is gearing up to release four new lens models in the upcoming months, along with the long-awaited ZV-E10Ⅱ camera. The first of these lenses, the 16-25mm F2.8 G, is confirmed to hit the market shortly.

In addition to the 16-25mm lens, Sony is also rumored to be working on three other lenses that are slated for release before the summer season. These include the 24-70mm F2.0 GM, the 85mm f/1.4 GMII, and an E-mount lens with unspecified specifications.

The 24-70mm F2.0 GM lens is said to be similar in size to Canon’s RF28-70mm F2.0 and is expected to offer excellent optical performance, even when used at its widest aperture. Pricing for this lens is anticipated to exceed $3,000, which translates to approximately 21,600 Chinese yuan.

As for the 85mm F1.4 GMII lens, rumors suggest that it will offer improved optical performance and a more compact design compared to its predecessor. However, no further details have been provided at this time.

Overall, it seems that Sony is preparing to expand its lens lineup with a range of new products that cater to different shooting needs and budgets. With the addition of the ZV-E10Ⅱ camera, photographers and videographers alike will have plenty of new options to choose from in the coming months.
