Rocket Supercar Hits 0-100 km/h in 0.9s: Yu Hao Confirms Dreame Auto’s $10B Funding Push

April 30, 2026 – Recently, Yu Hao, the founder of Dreame Technology, made an announcement that the company’s Starry Sky Project, which focuses on smart cars, is moving forward with a new round of financing, aiming to raise 64 billion yuan (approximately 10 billion US dollars).

At a recent launch event held in the United States, Dreame officially unveiled its rocket-powered supercar, the Nebula Next 01 JET Edition. The company plans to roll out the first controlled vehicle prototype by June next year.

According to official information, this model stands out from traditional powertrains. It will be equipped with a specially customized dual solid rocket propulsion system. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 0.9 seconds, with a thrust of 100 kilonewtons, which is close to the thrust of a single engine on a Boeing 737, and has a response time of 150 milliseconds.

The performance of the Nebula Next 01 JET pushes the limits of tire grip far beyond the current record set by electric supercars (0.956 seconds).

Ma Junye, the president of Dreame’s Starry Sky Project, revealed in an interview that this rocket car will not be mass-produced in the future, and its price is likely to exceed 10 million yuan.

Public records show that the Starry Sky Project is an automotive brand under Dreame Technology, with its main entity being Starry Sky Project (Shanghai) Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. It is dedicated to the research and development and manufacturing of high-end new energy vehicles.

In August 2025, Dreame officially announced its independent high-end smart car brand, which is uniformly known as the “Dreame Starry Sky Project” to the outside world.

According to the latest information from Dreame, the current size of its automotive team has exceeded 1,000 people, with research and development personnel accounting for about 70%. It is expected that by the second half of this year, the total team size will approach 2,000 people.
