January 20, 2025 – In his latest edition of the Power On newsletter released yesterday, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg reiterated a report disclosed in October 2024, stating that Apple Inc. is set to introduce a new Magic Keyboard for the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air tablets early in 2025.
As reported back in October 2024, the new Magic Keyboard designed for the iPad Air borrows features from the latest version intended for the iPad Pro. It boasts a thinner and lighter design, an aluminum palm rest, a larger glass trackpad, and a row of function keys with shortcuts for adjusting brightness, volume, and more.
The new iPad Air, alongside the 11-inch iPad and the Magic Keyboard, are anticipated to be unveiled in March or April this year. These updates promise to deliver enhanced performance and a more streamlined user experience for customers. Gurman disclosed last week that the 11-inch iPad will be equipped with the A17 Pro chip and 8GB of RAM, making even the entry-level iPad capable of supporting Apple Intelligence features.
