Toyota Set to Release bZ3C, a New Electric Crossover, on March 11

February 27, 2025 – According to a report by AutoCar, Toyota is set to unveil a brand-new electric vehicle on March 11th. The Japanese automaker has plans to expand its electric vehicle lineup to six models by the end of 2026.

Advance previews indicate that the upcoming car is a crossover model, featuring a slanted roofline, an extended hood, and Toyota’s latest “hammerhead” design for its front fascia. Additionally, the exterior bears some resemblance to the bZ3C hatchback, which was showcased at the Beijing Auto Show last year.

The new electric vehicle is expected to offer various battery and motor configurations, including an all-wheel-drive (AWD) option. It is rumored to be equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a raised center console, and a digital driver’s display. Higher-end trim levels are anticipated to include features such as a panoramic sunroof, a JBL sound system, and sport seats in the front.

Previously, FAW Toyota announced during the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show in China that the bZ3C would be launched early this year. This model will incorporate Toyota Pilot’s advanced intelligent driving technology, developed in partnership with Momenta, marking the first Toyota vehicle globally to feature an end-to-end intelligent driving model.

For reference, the bZ3C is equipped with 33 sensory components, providing over 30 intelligent driving functions. These include navigation-assisted intelligent driving for highways and urban areas, dynamic radar cruise control, intelligent lane tracing, smart parking systems, remote parking, and more.
