Apple’s Upcoming iPhone 16 Pro: Leaked Colors, Size Increases, and a Powerful New Chip

February 20, 2024 – Recent reports suggest exciting new developments for the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro. According to a post by X user “Majin Bu,” the smartphone giant may introduce not one, but two bold new color options: Desert Titanium and Gray Titanium.

The Desert Titanium hue, similar to the gold of the iPhone 14 Pro yet with a deeper, richer tone, is sure to turn heads. Meanwhile, the Gray Titanium offers a more subdued elegance reminiscent of the space gray finish of the iPhone 6. However, it remains unclear if both colors will make the final cut, as the user speculates that Apple may ultimately choose just one of these new shades for the iPhone 16 Pro line.

Typically, the Pro series of iPhones debuts with four color variants, often including staples like black, white, and gold, alongside a rotating cast of fresh hues like green, blue, or purple. It’s rumored that the black and white titanium finishes, popularized by the iPhone 15 Pro series, will carry over to the iPhone 16 Pro. However, the fate of the blue titanium and original titanium colors remains a mystery.

In terms of size, it seems the iPhone 16 Pro and its larger counterpart, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, are set for a growth spurt. The former is expected to increase from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches, while the latter could expand from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches. These larger displays promise an even more immersive user experience.

Most excitingly, the iPhone 16 Pro series is rumored to house the powerful new A18 Pro chip. Built using TSMC’s cutting-edge 3nm process technology, this chip is poised to deliver unprecedented levels of performance and efficiency. With so much to anticipate, fans of the iPhone franchise are eagerly awaiting the official unveiling of the iPhone 16 Pro.
