Apple Gearing Up for iPhone 16 Production Next Month: Report

May 17, 2024 – According to a new report released today by analyst Ross Young, Apple is expected to commence production of display panels for the iPhone 16 series in June. This aligns with the production schedule followed for the previous iPhone 15, indicating that the iPhone 16 will continue to adhere to Apple’s longstanding tradition of launching new devices in mid-September.

Young predicts that among the four models in the iPhone 16 series, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro are anticipated to have the highest sales volumes. Initially, the demand for the iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 Pro Max may not be as high; however, Young forecasts an increase in demand around next summer as users tend to prefer devices with longer battery life during the warmer months.

Previous reports and leaked images of the iPhone 16 series have hinted at a return to the vertical camera design reminiscent of the iPhone X era for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. Notably, the iPhone 16 Pro Max stands out due to its larger size compared to the other models in the series. Rumors suggest that it will sport a 6.9-inch display, making it the largest Pro Max model ever released by Apple. In contrast, the iPhone 15 Pro Max featured a 6.7-inch screen.

With the anticipated launch of the iPhone 16 series, Apple fans and technology enthusiasts alike are eagerly awaiting the official unveiling to see what innovations and improvements the new devices will bring to the market.
