According to previous reports, Apple released the iOS 16.7.7 update on March 22nd of this year, which was specifically tailored for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X. This update was relatively minor, with the entire installation process taking approximately 8-10 minutes.
Currently, iOS 16.7.7 stands as the only supported and verified version within the iOS 16 branch. This implies that should users encounter any issues, they cannot revert to a previous version; instead, they must await the release of Apple’s next update.
Although Apple has not yet confirmed a release date for iOS 16.7.8, it is anticipated to arrive sometime in May.
