May 14 2025 – Nvidia unveiled a strategic collaboration with Saudi Arabia yesterday, aiming to significantly contribute to the nation’s sovereign digital infrastructure development while nurturing local tech talent, with the ambition of elevating Saudi Arabia to a prominent position in the global AI leadership landscape.
HUMAIN, a subsidiary specializing in AI under Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has outlined plans to establish an AI factory with a capacity of 500MW over the next five years. The initiative involves acquiring hundreds of thousands of Nvidia’s most advanced AI GPUs. In its first phase, HUMAIN intends to construct a high-performance AI supercomputer powered by Nvidia’s InfiniBand interconnection technology, featuring 18,000 GB300 superchips.
Furthermore, HUMAIN is set to deploy Saudi Arabia’s inaugural Nvidia Omniverse Cloud platform. This platform will leverage digital twin simulations to test and refine physical AI solutions, offering a cutting-edge environment for innovation.
Nvidia is also committed to fortifying Saudi Arabia’s computational ecosystem by providing specialized training to thousands of developers. The focus will be on equipping them with the skills necessary to harness accelerated computing and AI for tackling complex challenges.

In parallel, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) plans to integrate up to 5,000 Blackwell GPUs into its sovereign AI factory infrastructure. Additionally, SDAIA will launch smart city solutions, collaborating closely with Nvidia to train government and university scientists and engineers in the development and deployment of both physical and intelligent agent AI models.
Aramco Digital, the digital and technology arm of energy giant Saudi Aramco, is also set to play a pivotal role. It will develop AI computing infrastructure and partner with Nvidia’s startup ecosystem to establish an AI enterprise platform. This collaboration aims to create a Center of Excellence for engineering and robotics, incorporating Nvidia’s platforms into its operations.
Commenting on the partnership, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang emphasized, “AI is becoming as indispensable to nations as electricity and the internet. Together with HUMAIN, we are committed to building AI infrastructure for the people and businesses of Saudi Arabia, aligning with the Kingdom’s grand vision for the future.”
