Hermès Joins WPC, Unveils New Wave of Ultra-Luxury Qi Charging Accessories

March 31, 2026 – Hermès has officially become a member of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), joining the ranks under the name Hermes Sellier with an “Adopter” membership status. The luxury brand is now listed among the active corporate members of the alliance.

As the Qi wireless charging standard continues to evolve, the latest iteration, Qi 2.2, has been released. WPC members across various categories are actively advancing their efforts toward Qi certification. Hermès, in particular, has been making significant strides in the charging product sector in recent years. The company has introduced a range of charging accessories that seamlessly blend its signature leather craftsmanship with wireless charging technology, targeting its lifestyle and smart accessories categories. However, these products come with a premium price tag.

Recently, Hermès launched two new wireless charging solutions: the Paddock Duo wireless charging pad and the Paddock Yoko travel wireless charger. The Paddock Duo, which includes both the charging pad and its packaging, is priced at 5,150,whilethePaddockYokotravelchargeralonecosts1,750. These offerings reflect Hermès’ commitment to combining luxury design with cutting-edge technology, albeit at a steep cost for consumers.
