November 23, 2023 – According to information from AVSForum, LG’s upcoming C4 series OLED televisions, set to be released early next year, will feature a 144 Hz refresh rate.
Furthermore, reports suggest that LG is set to enhance the MLA OLED panels even further, with the G4 series boasting an impressive brightness of 3000 nits.
In earlier announcements, it was indicated that LG’s 2024 OLED TV lineup would see a significant upgrade in the processor department, adopting the Alpha 10 model. LG introduced the Alpha 9 processor for OLED TVs in 2018, and the current iteration is the Alpha 9 Gen 6. The latest reports suggest substantial improvements in the new chip’s NPU performance, offering enhanced image analysis, noise reduction, object recognition capabilities, and AI-driven audio enhancement features.
Following tradition, LG is expected to unveil its 2024 OLED TV lineup at the CES in January 2024.
