Gurman Reveals: Apple to Unveil Multiple New Products, Including M4 Chip-Powered MacBook Air, New iPad Air, and iPad 11

March 3, 2025 – According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple is poised to unveil a slew of new products in the near future, featuring the eagerly awaited MacBook Air equipped with the M4 chip, a refreshed iPad Air, and an entry-level iPad. Gurman emphasized that the release of the MacBook Air is “imminent,” while updates to the iPad line will arrive slightly later.

Following the official launch of the iPhone 16e, Apple’s product line renewal focus has shifted to other devices. Gurman revealed that inventories of the current entry-level iPad and the M2 chip-powered iPad Air are dwindling, strongly suggesting that Apple is preparing to introduce updated versions of these iPad models. This trend mirrors the inventory reduction observed for the iPhone SE 3 prior to the release of the iPhone 16e.

Specifically, the upcoming entry-level iPad (dubbed iPad 11) is expected to support Apple Intelligence and be equipped with the powerful A17 Pro chip, marking the first time Apple’s most affordable iPad will feature this high-performance chipset. Meanwhile, the iPad Air is anticipated to receive internal upgrades, potentially including the integration of an M3 chip and compatibility with the new Magic Keyboard.

Gurman further noted that these product updates are scheduled for this spring, albeit with staggered release dates. He hinted that Apple could announce new Mac products, presumably the new MacBook Air powered by the M4 chip, as early as this week (note: next week in domestic time). Conversely, updates to the iPad lineup are not expected to arrive in the immediate future.
